WELCOME
I look forward to working with you. I am deeply committed to helping you create and achieve your vision for your business and the freedom you desire and deserve. Together we will explore your personal vision for the future and improve the health of your business to create space and freedom for you to enjoy your life with family and pursue your passions.
AGREEMENT
This document will serve to confirm you are engaging DTLV Marketing (dba Crossing the Goal Partners) as your Certified Value Builder and facilitator for the Grow to Freedom mastermind.
The foundation of our work together will be supported by The Value Builder System™, a proven methodology for improving the "health" of your business and increasing its value for the ultimate freedom, an exit on your terms and timeline.
The Grow to Freedom mastermind includes discussion and implementation of the 8 key elements of freedom and value in your company discussed on a 12 month cycle completed each year at the pace of one session per month with Mark Mraz as facilitator of the mastermind, a group of no more that 10 business owners and/or professionals all working to achieve the same freedom you desire.
You will be expected to complete a number of strategic exercises and questions prior to our meetings. From time to time, as scheduling permits an expert in a relevant discipline will join the group for discussion and Q&A from you and your fellow mastermind participants.
The majority of our content will be delivered using the Value Builder System™ Growth Planner with additional supporting content delivered as appropriate. Throughout the year, you will have access to my client portal to access engagement-related documentation and support online communications.
ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT TERM
The initial engagement term will be from your date of enrollment, but no earlier than 07/15/2026 for a period of 12 months from your date of enrollment.
RENEWAL: The term of this agreement will continue for another 12 months unless Mark Mraz receives your written request to cancel this agreement no more than 60 days, and no less than 30 days, prior to the end date noted above; or upon the final sale of your business to a buyer.
ASPECTS and EXPECTATIONS OF A MASTERMIND
A high-impact mastermind relies on a foundation of collective intelligence and active peer accountability, where motivated members are expected to look past raw data to openly share real-world implementation experiences, challenges, and successes. Operating as a tight-knit advisory council rather than a passive lecture series, the group requires members to show up fully prepared to give as much value as they take.
Acting as the anchor of this dynamic, the facilitator guides the strategic direction of each session by keeping conversations tightly focused on actionable frameworks, inviting specialist guest contributors to address specific blind spots, and ensuring the environment remains a confidential, high-trust space. Ultimately, the facilitator does not act as an individual consultant or heavy-handed manager, but as an expert guide who maintains the pace and structure necessary for self-implementers to successfully turn concepts into freedom from day-to-day operations and tangible business value.
As Your the Facilitator You Can Expect Me To:
- Be your guide on this journey to transform your business into a freedom asset, bringing out the best in you and your business.
- Commit to maintaining a positive and professional environment of trust where, all members feel safe and open to freely share their experiences, struggles, and accomplishments without judgement for the good of the group.
- Introduce you to other trusted professionals to support areas where we identify resource gaps (e.g. M&A professional/business broker, tax planning professional, accountant/bookkeeper, etc.)
- Support and encourage you while acting as a sounding board during our sessions and your decision-making processes.
- Respect the confidentiality of this agreement and our work together.
- Be an ongoing resource for you in achieving your freedom goals.
I Expect You, as a member of the Mastermind To:
- Be honest and respectful of yourself, me, and the team we bring together.
- Commit yourself to the long game and transformation of yourself and your business to build a freedom asset.
- Commit to Full Attendance and Punctuality: Arrive on time to every monthly online Zoom session. Because our calendar systematically rotates through specific elements of building a freedom asset, missing a session disrupts both your own progress and the group's collective momentum.
- Act as a Driven Self-Implementer: Approach this program as an execution space, not a lecture hall. You are expected to take the frameworks, tools, and insights provided during sessions and independently apply them to your business without requiring hands-on implementation support.
- Complete Monthly Action Assignments: Review the prescribed materials, work through your business data, and finalize all designated implementation tasks prior to the next meeting.
- Engage in Radical Transparency: Look past raw data or superficial updates to openly share your real-world struggles, breakthroughs, and execution numbers. High-impact transformation requires vulnerability about what is failing just as much as what is working.
- Provide Mutual Peer Accountability: Actively participate in the hot seats and brainstorming sessions. You are expected to challenge your peers constructively, call out operational bottlenecks, and help hold fellow members accountable to their self-declared timelines.Honor Absolute Room Confidentiality: Maintain strict privacy regarding all business data, strategic vulnerabilities, financials, and personal metrics shared inside the group. Trust is our highest currency; what happens in the room stays in the room.
- Protect the Sanctity of Your Environment: Call in from a quiet, professional, and completely uninterrupted space. Do not attempt to participate in mastermind sessions from a noisy job site, an active service truck, or while driving between client estimates.
- Maintain a "Give to Get" Mindset: Show up to every session prepared to offer as much strategic value, wisdom, and resource-sharing to your peers as you expect to receive from them.
